Coupon Code vs Upgrade Link vs Ready Account: What You Actually Get

The three delivery types on PerkShelf, how each one redeems, and the trade-offs between using your own account and taking a ready login.

Every PerkShelf listing is delivered as one of three things. The product page says which, near the top and again in the redemption steps.

Coupon code

A code you paste at the vendor's checkout on your own account. Examples: Lovable Pro, Warp, Runway, Cursor Pro, Railway Hobby. Most coupon checkouts still ask for a card or virtual card with $0 due. Your plan, files and history stay on your account.

Upgrade link

A unique link you open while signed in to the account you want upgraded. Examples: Google AI Pro 18 months, Brain.fm Premium, Super Duolingo. Some links expire if left unopened, so redeem soon after delivery. Many need no card.

Ready account

A delivered email and password already on the paid plan. Examples: CapCut Pro, Netflix 4K, Figma Education, iLovePDF Premium. You sign in, change the password straight away, and keep the login to yourself. Device limits, where they exist, are on the listing.

Which should you choose?

  • Want to keep your own history and files: a coupon or upgrade link on your account
  • Want something working in minutes without vendor checkout: a ready account
  • Building for a team or client: check seats on the listing first

Step-by-step redemption by vendor is in how to redeem a coupon, key or link.

Frequently asked questions

Can I move a ready account's plan to my own email?

Usually not. A ready account is the plan. Change the password and use it as delivered.

What if an upgrade link says it has expired?

Contact support with your invoice number before trying anything else. Links are single-use, so do not share them.
