Software Voucher Glossary: Coupon, Upgrade Link, VCC, TxID, and More
Short definitions for the words on product pages, invoices and order screens, with links to the guide that explains each in practice.
Quick definitions for the terms used across PerkShelf.
Delivery types
Coupon code: a code you paste at the vendor's checkout on your own account.
Upgrade link: a single-use link you open while signed in; it activates the plan.
License key: a key you enter in the app or vendor portal, such as a Windows key.
Ready account: a delivered email and password already on the paid plan.
Plan picker: a listing such as LinkedIn Premium where you choose the plan before buying.
Payments
Wallet: your PerkShelf balance; top up first, then buy.
Invoice: a top-up request with the exact amount and method to pay.
TxID: the transaction hash of an on-chain crypto transfer.
Pay ID: the transaction or order ID of a Binance Pay transfer.
Network: the blockchain a token is sent on, such as Tron (TRC20), BNB Smart Chain or Solana. See choosing a network.

Checkout
VCC: a virtual credit card. Many vendors accept one for a $0 card check. See the $0 card check.
Term: how long the plan lasts, such as 1 month, 12 months or 18 months.
Pending delivery: an order that was charged but whose code has not been stored yet; it retries on its own.
All sales final: once a code, link or login is shown, the sale cannot be reversed. See what that means.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a coupon and an upgrade link?
A coupon is typed at checkout; an upgrade link is opened while signed in. Both apply the plan to your own account.
What is a TxID?
The unique hash of a blockchain transaction. Your wallet or exchange shows it in the transfer details.
